Text you paste or type into a tool is processed in your browser and is not intentionally sent to TextLumo.
Privacy at TextLumo
Privacy Policy
TextLumo is designed to do its core work in your browser. This policy explains what stays on your device, what limited technical data may be processed to deliver the site, and the choices available to you.
TextLumo does not currently offer accounts, run advertising, or use analytics or marketing cookies.
A tool may save a non-content layout preference, such as a panel divider position, on your device.
1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to the TextLumo website and its browser-based text tools. TextLumo operates this service. For privacy questions, email privacy@textlumo.com.
2. Text and tool data
Text entered into TextLumo tools is processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. TextLumo does not intentionally transmit, store, or use that text on its servers.
Do not enter information you are not authorized to use. Your browser, device, extensions, keyboard software, network, or accessibility tools may process what you enter under their own settings and policies.
3. Technical data used to deliver the site
When you request a page, the hosting and security infrastructure may process standard request data such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, and request time. This data is used to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse.
- Purpose: site delivery, reliability, and security
- Legal basis where applicable: legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service
- Retention: only for as long as needed for those purposes or to meet legal obligations
- Recipient category: infrastructure, hosting, and security providers acting for the service
4. Local storage and cookies
TextLumo does not currently set advertising, analytics, or marketing cookies. Some tool layouts save a panel-divider preference in your browser's local storage. That preference does not contain the text you process and remains on your device until you clear site data or your browser removes it.
5. Browser features and third parties
Copy buttons use the Clipboard API only after you take an action. Text-to-speech uses voices made available by your browser or operating system. Some voices may rely on an online service operated by your browser, operating-system, or voice provider; their terms and privacy practices then apply.
Links to other websites are governed by those websites' policies. TextLumo does not sell personal information and does not use tool input for profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Your choices and rights
You can use the core tools without an account. You can clear TextLumo local storage through your browser settings, block browser storage, avoid browser speech services, or stop using the site. Blocking storage may prevent interface preferences from being remembered.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal data in technical records, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or a right to complain to a data-protection authority. Email privacy@textlumo.com to make a request. We may need enough information to locate the relevant record and verify the request.
7. Children's privacy
TextLumo is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or forms because the service does not currently provide them. A child should use the site with a parent or guardian where local law requires it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be presented on this page before or when they take effect.
